Getting started

Turning on your microphone

Myndo is voice-first, so it needs your microphone. Here's how to turn it on — or back on.

Android
Web

Myndo is voice-first — you talk, it listens — so it needs access to your microphone. Without it, a conversation can't start.

When you first start a conversation, your phone or browser asks for microphone permission. Choose Allow and you're set. If you said no, or want to check, here's how to turn it back on.

On iPhone

If the microphone is off, you'll see Microphone Required where you'd normally start. Tap Enable in Settings to jump straight there — or go to:

  1. Your phone's Settings.
  2. Scroll down to Myndo.
  3. Turn on Microphone.

On Android

  1. Open Settings → Apps → Myndo.
  2. Tap Permissions → Microphone.
  3. Choose Allow.

On the web

Your browser controls the microphone. Tap the icon in the address bar (a small lock or camera), find Microphone, set Myndo to Allow, then reload the page.

The "Microphone Required" bar, with "Enable in Settings".

Once the microphone's on, head back to Now and start a conversation — you're ready to talk.
